From our crop reference
Taramira is a oilseed crop, grown in the rabi season. Sow it in Oct–Nov and expect to harvest in 110–130 days. It wants a pH of 6.0–8.0 (close to neutral) and 10–25°C. Plant at 30 × 10 cm, allowing 5–6 kg of seed per hectare. A good crop returns around 0.8–1.2 t. Watch for aphid, white rust.
