From our crop reference
Statice is a flower crop, grown in the rabi season. Sow it in Sep–Oct and expect to harvest in 110–130 days. It wants a pH of 6.5–7.5 (close to neutral) and 13–26°C. Plant at 30 × 25 cm, allowing 0.3–0.4 kg of seed per hectare. A good crop returns around 2–3 lakh stems. Watch for botrytis, aphid.
